Questions to consider

These questions are taken from our service on Fathers' Day 21st June 2020 which you can view here, or read the notes from here. Please either view or read before reflecting on these questions

READ Genesis 17:1-7; Matthew 28:18-20; Revelation 7:9-17

Have you ever realised that it is God’s heart to father all nations?

What blessings can you see in God bringing all different people groups together as one body?

What difficulties can you see with this?

How do you think we can overcome these difficulties?

READ Acts 2:5-12; Acts 8:26-40; Acts 13:1-3

Have you ever realised that the church has been multi-racial since its earliest days?

How do you think that the early disciples coped in crossing cultural boundaries to share the gospel with very different people, culturally, racially and socially and economically?

How can we do so similarly?

What do we need to see happen amongst us as a church to become like the church in the New Testament, a little glimpse of the glory of heaven?

Perhaps share the things you have reflected on with others, and take time to pray into what you have reflected on.
